1. What I like about the book?: I like the fact that this book has chapter objectives, keywords and small conclusion or summary in every chapter. I can revise on the content of the chapter before I proceed to the next page. Besides, at the few last pages of the book, there is an index where important keywords in pharmaceutics are listed alphabetically. Thus, it is accessible for students to look up to the topic as well as to familiarize with the content faster. There are also list of references in each chapter which means that the sources of the information is reliable. The graphics are in black and white but it is easily understandable and also the division of subtopics is neat. Hence, the explanation is clearly comprehensible to the students. 2. Brief content of the book: This book comprises of three parts which are physical principles and properties of pharmaceutics, practical aspects of pharmaceutics and biological applications of pharmaceutics. Basically, it contains the foundation or basic concepts of drug physiochemical properties, the relationship of physical and biological properties of drug and lastly the application of the properties onto drug productions. Moreover, all the properties of drug that should be taken into account are described and explained in this book such as physical states, thermodynamic principles, equilibrium processes and many more. From here, we could understand how each drug dosage form is developed to produce a stable, safe, effective and long-lasting drug. 3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?: Yes, it definitely suits my program which is Bachelor of Pharmacy. Other than that, Pharmaceutical Chemistry students can also use this book as their references. Students who learn pharmaceutics or biopharmaceutics can utilize this book to increase their understanding toward the topics. Not only that, the elaboration provided is more extensive yet comprehensible for students to study alone. 4. Would you recommend this book to your colleagues and why?: Yes, I would like to recommend this book to my friends as it provides the basic knowledge of pharmaceutics. Moreover, the content is written in straight-forward and student friendly manner, thus, student can use this book to study by themselves and most importantly, the cover of the book is eye-catching. Thus, it attracts me to read this book.
