1. What I like about the book?:

What I lie about this book is that I think it is the most complete and comprehesive book on anatomy and physiology. This books covers all parts of the anatomy, including, not only explaining each part of the body but also explains the different organs in a body that works together cohesively to form a system. This includes the cardiovascular system, digestive system, cardiovascular system and many more. Other than that, this books not only explains the different parts of the body and the system that governs it, but it also takes it a step further by explaining it in detail to ensure that no information is missing.

2. Brief content of the book: As the title suggests this book is about anatomy and physiology. This book covers the topic of anatomy and physiology extensively and explains how the body system works. This book contains 29 chapters involving anatomy and physiology which is organised into 5 units which is organization of the body(1), covering, support, and movement of the body(2), regulation and integration of the body(3), maintainence of the body(4) and continuity(5). Unit 1 covers the cells, chemistry and tissue of the body and how they work to make the organs function. Unit 2 is about the muscular and skeletal system and how they work to make the limbs move. It also shows what chemical reaction is happening as the process happens. Unit 3 is mainly about the nervous and endocrine system and how they work to regulate and integrate the function of the body. Unit 4 is about how the functions of the body is maintained through cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, repiratory urinary and digestive system. Unit 5 is about how the human species is continued, explained by heredity, pregnancy and human development, and the reproductive system.

3. Does it suit you or any other programs and why?: This book definitely suits almost all program involving healthcare as it covers extensively the anatomy and physiology of the human. This book is especially useful for pharmacy and medical students as it shows how the human body operate, and the systems that governs it.

4. Would you recommend this book to your colleagues and why?: I would definitely recommend this book to my colleagues. This is because this book is really good for students to learn the thory behind the systems which giverns the human body. In each of the respective chapter the information is conceyed in an easy to understand words. The chapter opening roadmaps at the start of each chapter are also very useful to help students keep sight of the “big picture” concepts for organizing information. This book also contains memorable familiar anologies which describe and explain structures and processes clearly and simply. I think this feature of the book is especially great as I love to use anologies to understand something. The book also contain s a great variety and range of self assessment questions for students to assess their understanding on a topic.
